Biker's Rest
Antony Holloway (probably) Year unknown
This piece is slightly mysterious. Never marked on any maps nor attributed to anyone, it looks like a cross between 'The Addison Seat' and 'Spiral Growth'. With that in mind, it's likely safe to assume that it was created by Antony Holloway.
Although the seat is looking worse for wear nowadays, it can still be found on the far western side of the forest, on the track dropping from the Grizdale Arts headquarters at Lawson Park down into Coniston valley. Just to add another layer of mystique, even the photographer is unknown, (this photo is from Flickr) so if that's your bike, get in touch through the 'Contact' section.
