This was a good one, but given its location I'd wager it was one of the least-seen sculptures Grizedale has had. It sat at the end of the long dead-end prong of forest road on the left shoulder of Carron Crag, necessitating a massive diversion from your walk. It was worth it though - two opposing clans of chess figures sizing each other up from either side of the track. I'm not sure when it was removed, but sadly it isn't there now.
