'The Addison Seat' was located not too far from the start of the Millwood Trail. After passing Kennels Road car park, you'll start to climb a hill, with a sharp zig-zag halfway up. The seat was on this corner, and was dedicated to someone with the surname 'Addison', but unfortunately I can't remember the first name. The photograph is taken from Grizedale's own archive.
