'Underground Tree' sits by the forest road north of the Millwood Trail, on the way up to Moor Top and is a tree which has seemingly been upended and entombed under a stone cairn. It's tricky to do justice to this one through photographs, since it looks like nothing more than a pile of stones from a distance and is almost lost beneath the undergrowth now, but get close enough and you'll see it. Speaking about the piece, Toya remarked:
"The allegorical tree is full of death and yet beautiful."
'Underground Tree' has recently been joined on this stretch of road by Charlie Whinney's 'Sharing'.
