Placed on the Ridding Wood Trail in 1999 by the big bridge, these eerie figures lurked just by the side of the trail, at the start of a footpath which veers off into the trees.

Paul Dodgson hails from Manchester and does a lot of live-action and puppetry work. He was aided in his Grizedale pieces by Millom's Youth Enquiry Service Centre, which helps local children to gain experience in creative working.
