I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm pretty sure that this butterfly which adorned the wall of the old visitor centre was the work of Steve Blaylock. Not only did it follow the style of his Ridding Wood sculptures, but it also appeared at the same time. It didn't last as long as the others though; in 2008 the old visitor centre building was knocked down and swapped places with the cafe. The butterfly vanished with the building, let's hope it was rescued before the demolition.
