I've got no idea who or what the intriguingly-named 'Blurpg' is, but since artist Paul Dodgson was helped by the pupils of Sandside School, I'm guessing he/she/it is a character from a children's story of some sort. Anyway, this charming little house sits by the stream on the Ridding Wood Trail and is very popular with young children on the walk.

Sandside Lodge School is in Ulverston, and caters for children with learning difficulties. In 2017 a plan was announced to relocate the establishment to the nearby Victoria High School, so that newer, more modern facilities could be put in place.
